Impact of $45m redesign

The new design will bring together four separate landscape areas and four acres of parking for an expanded arts facility. These landscapes will provide additional sight lines of the surrounding forested area and serve as a platform for exhibitions, temporary installations and public programming. Sustainability measures will be woven throughout the design. The project is expected to be complete in 2024. The final design will include more than 650 new trees.

A newly renovated Conservation, Fabrication, and Maintenance Building will expand the Art Center’s capabilities to realize extraordinary projects and support artists’ visions. It will also house a mechanical shop and workshop for conservation efforts and fabrication of new sculptures for exhibitions.
